Review on 🧰 Manifold Gasket Set for Intake & Exhaust by Clint Mcloven

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I only use Fel Pro pads. They use very good material

These gaskets fit perfectly. It's riveted together in one piece. They shouldn't have any leaks if installed properly. Make sure the side with the metal seal is in contact with the head outlets. The gray gasket material should be against the intake manifold. Comes with a 3-hole gasket between the intake/exhaust manifold. Install these 3 screws/bolts loosely first. Don't overtighten. Install the inlet/outlet on the head first. When tightening the inner/center bolts, always start in the carburetor area first and work your way to the ends. Fasten carefully first, then go back and re-tighten the center bolts to spec, going all the way to the ends again. Once tightened, tighten the 3 screws/bolts holding the intake/exhaust manifolds together to specification. After driving the car for a while, maybe an hour or two, recheck all the bolts and make sure they are tight. Sometimes you can use another small torque after the seal heats up and seizes/seats.

Pros
  • Meets or exceeds all OE specifications
Cons
