I bought a GBA SP on ebay and the seller misrepresented the condition. It was terribly scratched and the screen was covered in dirt and dried glue. Instead of returning it I accepted a partial refund and used it to get a new case. I love projects and have never done a shell swap. It's been about an hour and now it looks and feels brand new. Everything went well EXCEPT that, despite our best efforts, there was some dust under the screen. Unfortunately, the dust makes itself felt, but that's my fault. I would love to do a similar project for the Gameboy again and probably will.
