They seem safe for my aquariums. My bettas don't seem to mind. They release beautiful tannins. For a packet of dried leaves, they seem a bit pricey. All sheets appeared clean and had minimal damage. As these are dried leaves they can be a bit brittle but it was nice that most were whole and not shredded. I am satisfied with the products of this company. I bought about 5 different bags. I noticed that they have several different labels for the same type of product (small catappa leaves) but that's ok, they were all satisfactory. I am sure I will order more in the future.
