We bought a HUB so you can use dual monitors as well as all the other features this device offers. When we connected the hub and monitors to the laptop, everything worked as expected. We didn't have a TEAMS meeting but during the meeting the laptop camera was fine but we couldn't hear the other participants and they couldn't hear us. We have used TEAMS in the past and had no problems until we added a HUB to the laptop. It looks like the hub (totu) overrides input and output settings other than the camera. I turned off the hub, moved a monitor to the HDMI output on the laptop, after that the input and output on the laptop worked. Plug the hub back in (leave the monitor on the laptop's HDMI out), make sure the Teams and Laptop input and output settings are still set to Laptop (according to the screenshots provided by Totu). The laptop's microphone and speakers are muted. Disconnecting the hub from the laptop restores input and output to the laptop. Totu customer support stated that this was the default hub workflow and no solution was provided. I requested a refund for my purchase so I sent the device back to them according to their instructions. They insisted they couldn't issue a check refund due to company policy, they only offered a Revain gift card or a PayPal refund. The two options mentioned are inconvenient, forcing you to use Revain for future purchases or to create a Paypal account if you don't already have one. I have nothing against Revain, I use it all the time, but if I can't find a product on Revain and need to buy it from another website or vendor, I have to spend more money to make a purchase outside of Revain and to now i have money. tied to a Revain gift card. I hope this review helps others know what they might be facing when dealing with Totu, the company that does business with Revain.
