Easy and intuitive assembly. There are 2 screws on each corner and looking at them you can understand how they are connected. Simply screw them in by hand, then tighten with the Allen key provided. The stool is a good size, has hard padding (maybe a little too hard for some people) and is sturdy. You can use it as a step stool, footstool and bench at the end of the bed to put on your socks, or as an aid for pets to stand on your bed. The only real problem is that it only comes in one color. The fabric is well stitched, the solid pine legs are beautiful. They have little rubber (plastic) feet underneath so they don't scratch the wooden floor.
