Review on πŸ”ͺ Premium 10-Inch Stainless Steel Feeding Tongs by Zoo Med: Enhanced Performance and Durability by Jenn Hartman

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A bit flimsy for birds

The metal is rather flimsy and difficult to hold on to large or heavy prey. The etched/raised parts on the end for holding the prey (like a rat's tail) are a double-edged sword. It gets really messy at times and I have to rub really hard and use a toothpick to get the residue out of the combs, but it's also not deep enough or textured enough and the booty can slip through if you don't have a really good grip. . Sometimes I have to wrap the tail twice so I have two points of contact with the ridges. If you're only using for crickets or very small rodents/prey, that's fine. If it's for more than one thumb I would suggest buying something more durable that can hold things up better.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • old
