That's one thing - stop looking!

Like many others, I use #2 pencils. I have a wood workshop that makes guitars. I need sharp pencils for marking, but mechanical ones just break or always go empty at the wrong time. I've had small plastic sharpeners, electric sharpeners, I've even used a face grinder a few times. None of them worked in my harsh environment. So I started looking and found this device. When it arrived I was absolutely delighted with the result. Yes I know it only has one grinding wheel but it is a 40 year old traditional type with multiple blade surfaces. And the best part is that the wheel is mounted on a pencil lead holder, so that the pencil always stays in line with the grinding wheels. My first few times were so poignant, so enjoyable, like I was back in elementary school. (A long time ago.) It's all steel, with a steel handle. Great device! For the price it is what you need. Too bad, throw away the little useless mounting screws and use something at least 3/4" long to mount it. I set mine up on a wooden leg on one of my benches and couldn't be happier. You won't be disappointed Throw away the little useless mounting screws and use something at least 3/4" long to install it. I set mine up on a wooden leg on one of my benches and couldn't be happier.
