UPDATED: My rating has changed from 3 stars to 1 star. This item stopped working after 2 months of use. AVOID. I bought this to replace my current charger which looks similar. The ENTIRE reason I chose this one is because you can see from the pictures it has a ribbed rubber connection between the iPhone connector and the cable. In my old one, the cord just went straight into the connector, and over time, with frequent plugging and unplugging, the cable flexed right at that junction and eventually wore out and stopped working. I bought this to solve this problem because it has a ribbed rubber section that helps with flexing. Well, when he arrived he didn't look like it at all. The cable just goes straight into the connector, just like my old one. upset.
