Review on AUTEX AC Compressor Clutch Coil Assembly Kit 80221SWAA02 38810RRBA01 4918U1 by Unm Weil

I've had this installed for about 1000 miles. It works well with some heat shrink on the electrical connections. My kit did NOT come with the shims. I recommend you pre-order the shims from the dealership as I was quoted 2 days to get the parts in.My only complaint about the clutch kit was that a tolerance stack-up exists for the snap ring which retains the bearing. I was never able to completely get the snap ring to seat to my satisfaction. It is like the assembly was about 0.010 inch too thick to seat the ring. after disassembling and reassembling with no change, I decided to try it. Thus far, it has not been a problem. I would recommend Loctite 242 or equivalent on the nut which holds the clutch plate.If my snap ring would have fit properly, I would give it 5 stars.
