NO! I should have trusted the reviews and played it safe, as they all got me through the return process.The problem with this is that even the new correct replacement strap direct from Garmin is suspected to work as the holes are larger than the strap.The heads of the screws that attach the strap or secure.garmin has a good gps product there but the wrist strap attachment is a design flaw and i was surprised how it works!the watch still works fine but its useless unless it is attached to my wrist.our wonderful throwaway society is beating close again!...sorry Garmin guys like me, don't forget Don!
