So basically these are big pieces of cardboard. I thought it would be thicker than cardboard or poster board, but it's not that thick. You can draw without going through them, but marker or paint will warp or go through them. I say the $ value is good because it ends up being a ton of sheets that you can use for a variety of purposes. I was hoping it would be thick enough to be a bit heavier so I could use it to mount photos on a b4 frame. I can still use it and would recommend it, but it's not very thick. Just cardstock paper of a decent weight. only bigger.
