🔧 Lisle 59400 Pinion Bearing Race Driver Set: Ensuring Precise and Effortless Installation Review

I have a set of wheel bearings that I wanted to use for the job (GM 9.5" Semi-Float 2012, 8 lugs) and these drivers I might not want around anything to do that i could use a puncher carefully but i'm glad amazon just started this, 2 days later the races started in about 5 minutes with no fuss or fuss.

I originally bought the wrong Lisle tool for installing transmission bearing rings and thought they all looked the same. But this set is correct, at least to work with my Dana44 front axle. This set also allows you to use your own air hammer if needed. It also has an extension to get into the further gears.

Lisle have always made quality tools and this tool did not disappoint. I bought it to have my AAM axis on hand. I just installed two new bearings in the rear axle of my 2005 Dodge Ram. I struggled to attach the gear without a proper rider as the set I had wasn't big enough. I do a lot of repairs myself so this might come in handy for some future projects.

This is a really handy set. Aluminum handle and seals. Pneumatic steel handle. Watch out for the sharp edges of the drives, sharp edges can easily be knocked off with a thin file. (Poor workmanship/QC = Loss of 1 star) Multiple size options in this set make it useful, although using the largest screwdriver to seal is probably the maximum size for this pin to move around a square. Very well thought-out set. I honestly bought it based on the many positive reviews. My local parts store had one for about $20. but it looked cheap. It's pretty decent. I have previously ordered a $30 racer set and this cheaper set was not the right size for an 8.6". -Chevy Small. gear bearing. This more expensive kit has the correct dimensions as well as a large handle for hammering in and holding the actuator in place.
