High quality, suitable for both binoculars and scopes

Unfortunately they are large and durable, not what I would call birding binoculars. I was looking for compact binoculars and bought them for my husband for Christmas. But they are too big and too heavy for any of us. Excellent quality, excellent lenses and so on. Just not the"size".
