These LED bulbs are a great direct replacement for the #2825 bulbs on my GMC Sierra license plate. They're noticeably brighter, but not enough to bother those behind you. The color matches that of the truck's 6000-6500K LED backup lights and Xenon headlights, giving it a clean, crisp look. I ordered a kit for my GMC Acadia but the bulbs were too big to fit in the license plate light boxes. On the Acadia, the light assemblies fit snugly within the format of the #2825/#194 bulb. The length of these bulbs and the flat top created an eight-inch fit problem. I ordered a pair of WOXMA W5W LED wedge lights for this car.
