It depends if you like the classic gray hood or if you like this one. The transparent misted part gets in the way when the sun shines through it. I put painter's tape on the clear part we're looking through and spray-painted the clear fogged-up part black. It's a TON lighter on my eyes. The only thing I don't like about them is that they fit snugly against my head and I end up sticking my hands between my head and the padded part of the headset. This breaks the seal around my ear and can be a little uncomfortable. Otherwise I like them.
