I have used and tried many different headbands from halo bands, elite bands, deluxe audio bands and other cheap aftermarket bands sold here. I can honestly say that for the money this strap is way better than almost all others. The only other strap that gives it some competition in looks, comfort, practicality and durability is the Htc Deluxe audio strap, but even this headset is almost two years old and has finally given up (a few plastic teeth broke off in the rotating gear) . For that price, you get a strap that's half the price of an Elite strap and more durable than one, as well as many leagues ahead of any other aftermarket strap you'll find out here in terms of durability. When you first lift this headband you can feel its weight and it feels well made and the weight on the back acts as a good counterweight to help keep the headset level. I've also found that this headband is compatible with a rear-mounted VR Power battery. A few other positives about the headset are that the side arms are one-piece and not multi-piece like you'll find with other headbands. for sale here and the top strap is this soft touch silicone material which in my opinion is much better than velcro. Finally, the turning knob doesn't squeak and sounds very good when tightening and passing through clicks, and the headband doesn't loosen over time when playing games like Beat saber or Thrill of the Fight. Overall, I highly recommend this headband. and also have to say i am shocked that it is not more expensive as it is so much better quality than other cheap headwear here. Finally, if you find that the back wrapping around your head is even a little uncomfortable, order the Elite VR Strap Cushion with a slight cushion modification to match this headband for even more comfort.
