I can't go back to regular monitor stands anymore. That's cool. The arms feel super strong. It's a lot harder than I expected. The clamps feel strong and I'm not worried about them falling off. Even if I loosen the clamps, it doesn't fall off that easily because of the angle. Because of this, I don't see any risk of catastrophic failure if it just falls off the table or anything like that. Don't forget to adjust the tension and get it where you want it. Once I have everything set up, I can easily move my monitors around and they stay where I put them. You can tilt and rotate the monitors as you like. Little did I know when I bought this item that there are two USB ports at the base of the stand. At first I thought I wouldn't use them but they were really great. My monitor has two ports on the side and two on the back, I connected the two rear USBs to the stand and as I have enough space behind the keyboard it's a great place to put my devices while charging. can pull the monitor all the way in front of my keyboard if I want to sit back a bit while gaming with a controller. I can move it backwards a bit and still hold it straight in front of me if I want while playing with the keyboard and mouse. It makes my 27" monitor look like a big screen. I'm quite tall so it's also great to have vertical adjustment. It feels great to be able to sit up straight and have the monitor eye level with my face It was definitely a good investment. I recommend this to everyone. The clamp has two options. You can clamp it or screw it on. I didn't want to drill the table so I clamped it. This is a large, heavy duty clamp that easily snaps onto the table fits most desks. However, some tables can present an issue due to the frame, as I did, clamp to a metal frame about the same thickness. I wanted the clamps to sit on a wide, flat surface, so I put a 2x4 piece in between the clamp and the table. This works great.
