Be very careful when using modular cables from other brands!

Good product overall. Quiet when the fan is not spinning. However, it makes a strange noise when the fan starts spinning. The fan itself is not silent when spinning. A hard lesson I learned burning two SATA drives: you can't use third-party modular cables! I needed a softer/shorter cable for my small case, so I grabbed a Corsair SATA modular power cable. Apparently the wiring of these two is completely different (see photo) which resulted in chip burn-in on my boards! Be very very careful! There should be an industry standard for these modular cables!
