Review on 🧀 SHOWA 727-09 Nitrile Unlined Chemical Resistant Glove, Large (12 Pairs),Light Green - Enhanced for Better SEO by Christine Sanchez

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Great but can be difficult to get on and off

This is the right thickness to handle many potentially hazardous liquids; I use them to work with herbicides. They are more flexible than other 15mm gloves I have used, fit well and are durable. The outside of the gloves has a slightly rough "orange peel" texture that makes it easier to grip. So they are doing their job well. The downside is that the inside of the glove is smooth; it does not have a slightly rough external texture. If your hands sweat at all, and they probably will after holding them for a few minutes, they will become sticky and VERY difficult to remove due to stickiness. If you try to put them back on without thoroughly drying the inside, it will be VERY difficult to put them back on. Lined gloves can help reduce this effect, but lined gloves are not recommended for handling herbicides (and other dangerous chemicals I believe). As a result, I often have to put talc in my Showa Best gloves. I have not had this problem with similar nitrile gloves of the same size from other manufacturers (eg Gempler's). I would give this five stars if SHOWA could change the inner texture to make it easier to put on and take off.

Pros
  • 13 inches long, 15 mils thick
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
