You get what you pay for

Given the price, you get what you pay for. Also consider how small this bedside table is. It looks bigger in stock photos than it actually is. When I bought it, I thought more about the width and didn't pay enough attention to the height. Sitting oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo It's my fault for not paying attention. Positive: Aesthetically the table is not bad. Mine was intact, no scratches or chips. The color is nice (mine is grey). It was easy and quick to put together and seems to last a while. Cons: It's a pressed panel to which cheap, veneer-like wood has been applied. Quality"finish" garbage. Part of the "surface" came off along with the part number sticker when I took it off. There is also no quality control. To ensure the structural integrity of the table, wooden dowels are inserted between the legs and shelves (you insert them during assembly). Holes for dowels are drilled at different depths and widths. I had to punch some of them in because the holes were too tight and others were dangling in the holes. Some of the dowels almost went all the way into the holes because they were too deep, while others fitted just fine. There was absolutely no consistency. Finally, the holes didn't line up too well between the top and the legs. I had to "talk" the ceiling with a hammer and luckily nothing ripped. Final Thoughts: If you're looking for a very cheap bedside table that looks good and can be tucked away in a corner, this should be fine. To deceive. If you care even a little bit about quality and want your furniture to last more than a year or so, spend the extra money on something better.
