BEST. DYE. JE. good for painting

love this color! Makes old furniture look brand new and gorgeous without much effort. I've used several colors and I love them all. I don't care about wax, I think any wax will do the job. I apply 1 coat gently and then thin down the 2nd (and sometimes 3rd) coat with some water to smooth out the color so it doesn't appear as bulky and thus leaves a softer finish. I can also get excited by using a different color! If I don't like it, just rinse off with plenty of water and try again. The possibilities are endless. I'm repainting my entire bedroom set, it looks so fun and unique. Just so you know, it looked like cherry colored laminate before that color went around town. I was able to make two large bedside tables using an 18 ounce glass. You can also use each for dressers (different colors). On the darker one I used Yesteryear (light grey) as the base and aged the drawers with Relic (very dark grey). On the lighter one I used Primitive (light grey/warm) and lightened it, then mixed in wax with Vintage (seafoam green).
