I have used tables from other manufacturers that were too wobbly and could spill drinks on them. It looked strong so I bought it in place of the flimsy one. One issue I had with the table was that my feet were on that stupid horizontal bar. Another issue was that this horizontal bar prevented the table from sliding under the chair at certain angles. What I did was remove that horizontal bar and the table didn't lose any structural integrity but was more convenient to use. I recommend everyone to omit this part when assembling a new table.
