This securing strap is a disappointment, to say the least .Industrial and scientific claims are unfounded. Through trial and error I found that it was not reliable - the ratchet mechanism came undone multiple times during transport, causing damage to my equipment. The only positive thing about this product is that it is cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. Don't waste your money on these straps, invest in a better quality option..
