My kitty loves this article. This is a good scratching post, but it doesn't take a lot of exercise. This is a foldable model, my little kitty tore it in half after a few weeks. That's not a problem for me, I just use both parts in different places. If your cat is as exuberant and inquisitive as mine, be careful. It works, it scratches the post, not my furniture.
