Anyway, it seems to be working fine. I put them in the holder

Almost exactly the same as the filter that came with the vacuum except there is a strong plastic cover on one side of these filters. I just can't figure out which side to put next to the incoming airflow, the soft foam side or the side with the stronger plastic covering. They seem to work fine anyway when I put them in the mount. I wish they would provide information on which method works best, but other than that these are great filters for the Hoover Linx they were designed for. Highly recommended.
