This dock comes with a 130w or 180w adapter although Revain's description at the time of the Kaufs said 180 watts in one spot and 130 in another, so I wasn't aware that Dell had two docks with the same model number but different power supplies. When I plugged in my Dell XPS 9560 with the 130w adapter I got a message saying it won't charge because it needs more power so I have to use the laptop's power cord when docked to charge to avoid discharging the battery. I sent it back to 180w which works great. I use with two VGA monitors. Although it will support 4k I think it will only allow one monitor with that resolution as only one monitor will work when set to 4k so I had to set a lower resolution. This is fine by me as I don't have 4k monitors although the laptop is 4k but I would check the Dell website if you want to use two 4k monitors to see if this is supported. After speaking to Dell and looking at the list of Dell docking stations that support my laptop, I found that the Revain description was wrong as the Dell website says you get the 180w version require.
