MAYBE 3.5 stars would be a better rating. This is a good product, but it gives you some "I want". First, I WISH it came with a sharp edge. Some of the reviews I read said this thing was "hot". Others complained that it was boring. I agree it's bland BUT it's an edge thin enough that it slices better if you have a crispier crust because it's more of a "controlled tear" than a proper cut. Softer crusts will require multiple passes to get a clear separation. I'm planning on getting a knife sharpener to see if I can get sharper cuts, although I'm NOT sure how well the material holds a sharp edge. Second, the blade is 12 inches long (as advertised), but I haven't really thought about what that means. If you're making small to medium pizzas, that's great. Large to XL pizzas are too big to cut in one go. It's also great for things other than pizza (like hot/cold sandwiches, etc.). Third, this thing (as a whole) is made from a lighter material than I imagined. The lack of weight increases the fat in the shells that you need to add for slicing. It's not that hard to cut a slice of pizza, but the idea behind this project is simple. In general I like it. For <$10 it's very good. I hope it escalates. (I'll follow that in a while.)
