I have a family orphanage and have found them to be durable and perfect for little hands. I ordered it on the recommendation of a children's book. Unfortunately, my children do not like them and are therefore little used. I think it's because of their rectangular shape. We have many art supplies that they have free access to: pastels, crayons, crayons, record players, markers, stamp pens, crayons, etc. and they seem to prefer the shapes that they can grasp and write, more like a pencil. My kids range in age from 1 to 5 and that seems to be the case with all of them, but your kids might love them! It's definitely worth trying out and keeping for yourself. They're great for things like grating.
