I've recently become obsessed with mid-century design. I already have some mid-century items in my home and was looking for an inexpensive item to help prepare our home for the upcoming sale. I use this in our laundry room right next to the door that leads to the attached garage. I'm trying to give a "dirty room feel" to part of this room. We're going to put a row of coat hooks on the wall just above it. This piece is definitely smaller, but if you don't have a lot of space to work with, this really is the perfect size. I really think it will look great! On the other hand, it comes in MANY parts. It took my husband a long time to assemble this item. For a small piece of furniture, there are probably many more parts than are actually needed. The cumbersome construction is the only reason why I give 4 and not 5 stars.
