The product itself is basic, no frills, but really good at what it does. There's no real setup required as you just pop the board to the stretch level you want (don't be overconfident and start at level 3 like me because you WILL FEEL it and what you feel will be pain) and you're set reload! I also recommend not leaving it in its holder after use, as it is a flexible piece of plastic that will "mold" into this shape, making it much more difficult to switch layers. I was a fan of ledges and actually tried flipping part of the board but I could see it wasn't as solid on that side so I flipped it back - I think if you have a lot of muscle or weight you might it might be nicer but at first it seemed like it would sting me until I got used to it. The integration of a massage ball and a rolling ball is also a big plus. The rollerball is cool to the touch and comfortable to the touch. I haven't gotten my dad to use it yet but he is very excited to try it because he has fibromyalgia and one day the doctor told him he had back pain. An 80-year-old man in his 50s. I think this will help it a lot with its flexibility and its size makes it easy to store under a bed or in a closet when not in use. I can feel a difference in my posture now after using it for a few days and I know it will help me in the long run when I start exercising again.
