I recently noticed that one of the noisiest parts in my PC is the Seasonic X650 power supply. I couldn't use the fanless mode because at some point the PSU would overheat and spin the fan at full blast while gaming. I did a little research and came across this power supply. I had never heard of Mistel before, but after reading some JonnyGuru reviews I decided to give it a try and buy it (instead of the much more expensive fanless Seasonic model). I've used this PSU in a MiniITX case and it performs like a champ. Of course, I recommend some airflow from case fans, but it looks like this power supply can take some abuse. I even tried a Vega 64 with no issues (the Vega 64 is notorious for power spikes that caused my Seasonic 650w to shut down). Best of all: no noise. The transparent design is also pretty cool if you have a case with a window. I'm no expert but the build quality seems to be as good as any power supply I've used before (Seasonic, Silverstone). For the price I find it unbeatable. 80 Plus Platinum, 650W and fanless (also RGB if you like it). This power supply silently delivers enough power for probably 95% of PC manufacturers.
