I've been a big fan of Goretex for many years. I've found it to be a reliably waterproof and breathable fabric that's great for running, trainers, etc. These gloves supposedly have a layer that protects them from the elements. I also think these gloves give me some temperature range as they are warm enough for cool to moderately cold temperatures without a liner and then I have room to wear a snug liner when it gets colder. I think they are perfect for winter sports at the end of the season. I love the feel of the glove lining and the design of the fabric loops that allow me to quickly slide the gloves fully over my hands. There are clips to help keep the gloves together when in my pocket. I have other cold and wet weather gear from this brand and have had good experiences with them over the years. I expect the same from these well designed gloves and hope to use them for a long time.
