When I first started using this product I have (almost) nothing bad to say about it. I'm really glad I finally have a cell phone car mount that you don't have to constantly clip to your dash or stick in an air conditioner vent or rely on a magnet attached to your phone or whatever. It is great. Idea: Put it in the coaster and turn the dial so that the base expands and fits snugly against the edges of the coaster. You can then adjust a few other moving parts to get the right angle and distance from you, mount the phone into the mount area, and lock it in place. Fiction. Is this drink holder too close? Let's try another one. Do you have to drive your wife's car? Take this device with you! My only complaint is that once everything is in place, this whole contraption can wobble a bit when you're on the go. However, so far there hasn't been a critical moment where it rocked and I had to look at it to see a visual cue on the GPS at the right moment, so that's good. You can also install a small tablet if you prefer. Please note this is a car cup holder. Don't think you will use it on the kitchen table! The part where the phone is attached doesn't seem to be firmly fixed at the bottom. Maybe it's user error, but it's the biggest mistake I see. Slam it with your hand to reach something in the passenger seat and you can knock this hunk off. I can see how if you get confused and don't turn the different dials in the right direction and start turning them too much, you can break or strip them. They're plastic and won't last forever. However, if you take care of them properly, they are a great tool for your car and I was very pleased to test them. 4 stars.
