My eldest son (10 years old) wanted a camera that he could take pictures with. I thought it would be great for him as he didn't want anything out of the ordinary and that the waterproofness would help him avoid the accidents that always happen in our house. He's had it for a few months and it still holds what says something. We haven't used it in water, but then again, the fact that it hasn't been contaminated with liquid says something. He loves the features it has and found it easy to use. The waterproof body makes it harder to press the buttons than without it, but we recently bought another son a camera with the same body and he's the same. He finds this camera a bit small, but not so bad that he doesn't want (or can't) use it. I would definitely recommend this to others.
