Like many others, I find that a jacket that fits Dog A may not fit Dog B at all, even if the fit guide says their owners buy it need the same size. Again with this product, like other reviewers, I felt that going up a size was a good decision. "Large" supposedly for dogs weighing 18-24 pounds fits my long and skinny 14-pound Border Terrier almost perfectly. The elastic straps on the back legs are a bit odd and I wonder how durable they will be, but my dog gets along with them (your might not) and they really help keep the jacket snug against the back. We've just come back from a hike, it's snowing more like sleet and while my ski parka got wet, the scooter jacket wicked the water away well. The reflective edge is a definite plus. IF it fits your dog, you will love this jacket.
