I really wanted this set to be liked more than it actually is. I definitely didn't need this kit as I have two well established Tech Rescue Kits from a larger tool manufacturer. But the Arrowmax looked really cool, offered a design elegance and looked like it had 2-3 bits that I didn't already have. Well I was right about the tips - they look very well done and there are a few types I haven't had (e.g. T2). Although the overall length of the bits is the same, the narrow shank of each Arrowmax bit is only slightly longer. On the other hand, the Tech Rescue Kit includes five 3-inch long nozzles that you can use to reach deep sunken areas. It also comes with 5 Allen key. I would prefer Arrowmax for sheer quality. While I can't tell a significant difference, I like the Tech Rescue Kit's grip much better, it also has a rotating head but it's a little shorter making it easier to bowl in a medium sized man's hand. It also has a larger ribbed front for a MUCH better and more comfortable grip. With Arrowmax, the grip is longer, thinner and smoother. I can't just press it with my palm while rotating the device. It's not a perfect analogy, but consider the grips of the mountain. Blanc against clubs. Each set of bits fits into each pen which is nice, also a bit from one set can clip into another. The area where they differ greatly is in a rubbery plastic stick. The Arrowmax has a well-defined, sleek metal body with bits held by magnets in separate docking stations on a metal tray. Now my preference may be tinged a bit by the fact that it looks like I received a defective Arrowmax case. The tray slides right out of the case no matter what orientation I try to depress, latch, the mechanism. Once when I was trying to get the tray back in the suitcase, the tray slipped out of my fingers and fell to the floor. A third of the tiny pieces jumped out and ran under the furniture. It took me almost half an hour to find them all and put them on the carpet. I then spent another half hour laboriously setting them up in the right spot. If the same case happened with the Tech Rescue Kit, the bits would never detach from the rubber block holding them. While acknowledging the quality of this set, I feel that aesthetics take precedence over functionality in some areas. However, the beats themselves appear to be as good as can be, and other aspects can be re-included at personal choice. I don't think you can go wrong with this set, but you might want to consider alternatives before making your purchase decision.
