This suction cup base was used with a Wyze camera which was enclosed in an outer case. We had it UP the eaves but it kept getting wet so we wanted to get it UNDER the eaves but the only place it could go was the sliding glass door - this bracket was perfect for that. This is an adhesive pad that you remove the foil from before use, and a suction cup behind it. The thing will NOT come off, it's stuck there. We fitted a second mount with two sets of the same camera configuration to the window at the back of the house and it didn't move either.
