One strip is all you need.
Ideal for cabinet lighting. One strip is enough to glow under cabinets. This was my concern and I ended up buying enough to use two strips per cabinet without having to do so. I definitely recommend them. I've paired them with Idevices light switches and can now control them with Siri and Alexa. If you don't have a power source that allows you to hide the cords, install a light switch in a closet and run the power from an outlet that runs the cord through the wall.
