It used to be a crappy spin if you burned a CD or DVD (insert a hackneyed coaster joke). As for MP3 players and video streaming, I only use them to make backups before freeing up disk space (this may change soon for large and very reliable drives). I still write 2 backups as it's not a perfect world and scratches happen. More than once I was able to smugly dig up Backup 2 and restore what would otherwise have been lost. I'm just saying. But no matter what you burn, you need reliability. You can buy cheaper nameless crapolla and you will never have a problem. On the other hand, you just know that when you have a problem, it comes at the worst possible time. So why not do yourself a favor and spend a little more money and get a brand name that stands for quality. You will never regret it and one day it may save your caboose.
