Review on DJI Air Fly More Combo by Dusty Oner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bought the Mavic Air 2 two weeks ago. *NEW UPDATE*

*UPDATED BELOW* DJI Mavic Air 2 bought two weeks before I knew the update was coming so soon but. I just ordered Air 2S! The Air 2 was fantastic, but I had some range issues or loss of communication in buildings and residential areas. We hope that the updated device with 4 instead of 2 antennas will solve this problem. You can also look forward to updated hardware and a 1-inch sensor! I'll post a comparison and see if it was worth buying more. The upgrade is 100% worth it! Don't get me wrong, the Air 2 is still an amazing drone and great for everyone, but for me, having the money and interest in learning how to edit video footage made the upgrade worth it. Just look at the difference in the cameras in my pictures. The Air2S is an aluminum or metal gimbal, has a nice 1" sensor compared to the Air2's 0.5" plastic sensor, and of course the image on the Air2S is just plain better. However, the Air 2 is still a full-fledged drone and I will continue to use it as an everyday drone and for more adventurous shots. in the suburbs without high-rise buildings. That's not to say the range won't be better for some, but I don't see any improvement here in my opinion. I have power lines from the ground everywhere I live, so this could be causing the problem. It usually lost signal when I was about 0.25 miles away and flying low, but signal was reestablished at over 65 feet. For me this is not a big hurdle and I know others have said they have noticed a definite improvement so it may be related to the specific area I live in. Finally MASTER SHOOTING! IMO, this is one of the coolest things about a drone. You pick a target and Air2S takes a bunch of really cool action shots and adds them for editing. It literally does everything for you and is really great if you want to impress your friends or social media followers. Overall BUY THIS DRON 100% if it fits your budget. I don't think it's too far off the price of the Air2. So if you have the cash to spare I would definitely spend a little more and go for the Air2S. In my opinion - always use the Fly More Combo - I have it installed on both drones.
