Review on ASICS Womens Gel Venture 5 W Indigo by Ashley Roberts

I have bought 4 Asics shoes in the last 3 years and these are my favorites! My reasons for this being a "good" shoe: 1.) Toe box - I have trouble with my toes going numb if I don't have enough room in the toe box. To accommodate this, I usually order a size 10 and lace it up tight in regular shoes (if I'm wearing a 9 or 9.5). As a result, my shoes usually wear out faster in heels because they move a bit, but my toes don't go numb after a daily 4 mile hike. I have sore knees so I can tell when a shoe is losing cushioning. Mine last for almost 3 months with 4 miles of daily wear. 3.) Cuteness - Sorry for the vanity but I want the sneakers to be cute and pink on it. I only buy these. Blame me if you have to ;) 4.) Easy to put on and take off - I hate untying my laces so I love that they have a loop in the back so I can put them on with minimal loosening ( too lazy).5 . ) Does not pick up dirt/dirt. On loose mud trails I often run into dirt and mud that eats into my soles, so I prefer Asics models, let's say K-Swiss, because the soles don't have a lot of "hiding places" for mud to dig into. I compared: ASICS Women's Gel-Venture 5 is my absolute favorite for toe freedom, cushioning and arch support and wears well. ASICS Women's Gel-Content 3 is wider at the arch but narrower at the toe and heel. ASICS Women's Gel-Scram 2 - Plenty of toe room but not much arch support to say it's (super cute!) "stiff" and lighter but feels flimsy and doesn't reach the back of the heel , so that she sits a little strangely. When I say these shoes "wear well" I mean they are good, like they will fall apart even after wearing them for a long time. The only wear they show is some wear on the inside of the heels, but probably only because I purposely wear a half size up, and some wear where the inner fabric (pink) meets the lace holes. (See photo) Overall these are my favorite shoes that I have tried at Asics as well as Adidas, Saucony, Vibram and K-Swiss and will not be going back to the Gel-Venture 5. I love them and don't think it could be better :)
