Review on Microsoft 2XJ 00001 Bluetooth Keyboard 6000 by Wiktor Borowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

The result of all of the above. My needs are 100% fulfilled. Comfortably moved to it after a laptop keyboard with "hand memory" with all Ctrl +, Shift +, Alt +. All keys are pressed comfortably and well. She looks really chic and classy. During the use of the batteries that went inside, did not change. Therefore, I am satisfied with the choice and can advise as an excellent, standard, working keyboard.

Pros
  • I am sure my review will be useful, because once I combed all the reviews myself to understand all the pros and cons of this keyboard. This review is long and honest to help you make your choice. Usage experience - a month, OS-Windows 10 I will immediately indicate why the choice fell on a similar segment of keyboards. It was very important for me that the keyboard repeats the layout of the buttons on the laptop layout. So that Ctrl is exactly in the corner, so that Fn, Windows and Alt go further to the right. So that Shift is the same length as on a laptop, because the hands are already “sharpened”. Since I work in graphics and video editing, I'm used to hot keys and their exact, familiar location was a must. Now for the pros and cons: 1. It is concise, matte, without unnecessary screaming inscriptions. It looks exactly like a working tool should look like. Nothing distracts. Printing in Cyrillic or Latin is convenient. 2. It is not heavy, but not light either. Can we say that it is assembled well - yes. Even on "twisting" it does not creak. Naturally, at the bottom of the pads, so it does not slip. There can be no complaints here. 2. Fast and reliable pairing with the OS. Settled and connected quickly. Haven't flown yet. A huge plus for the menu is that it works on BT, and not through additional. adapter, like my trackball. Therefore, I have one free USB space for other peripherals. Therefore, by connection - 5. 3. Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center is a big plus. But about him later and in shortcomings. 4. Luxurious Num Keyboard. Clear, without superfluous (on the layout of the laptop, the keys are “strewn” with arrows and Home End Page Up and so on .). You work on it like on a calculator or a “grandmother's” phone. “Seven means seven and nothing more” - it is convenient and pleasant to calculate or set numerical values in editors.
Cons
  • 1. No backlight, but! This is the price segment in which it is not implied. Everything is corrected either by additional light on the desktop, or by “squinting”. I cope with this, I didn’t demand backlighting from her, then I attributed it to the minuses “in so far as” 2. Logout button (Win+L) right above Backspace. I agree, controversial. Sometimes you miss (and then, during active and blind typing). But in a month I “flew out” 4 times, and I’m sure that in another month my hands won’t automatically touch it. 3. The disadvantage that everyone is blaming and spitting, but which I turned into a “plus” is the F1-F12 keys. Thanks to the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center on the keyboard, you can remap F4-F7, work with caps, and two additional buttons. The Office and Emoji buttons are not customizable at all, so we miss them. They are dead to me. I assigned the “ate” button to the F5 button. Now the browser, folders, are ated, and the "Track back" does not switch. On the F6 and F7 keys, I set the launch of a graphic editor and video editing software. Comfortable. By pressing two keys you start your working day. A trifle, but nice and really comes in handy. Capslock turned out to be a little wider than on the previous keyboard, and therefore instead of “sphere” I printed “CERA”, because the finger fell on the caps, and not on the “F”. How to cure - just turned off the caps button. Now it simply does not work, and when pressed, it modestly highlights: "The key is disabled." 4. A drawback that I also saw in the reviews, but for which I want to stand up: Yes, indeed, after 5 minutes of inactivity, the keyboard falls asleep and does not respond for 3 seconds at the first touch. BUT! After that, it prints what you typed. So, for example, if you scroll the feed with the down arrow, and blunt it for 5 minutes, and then press the down arrow, the keyboard will wake up, think for 3 seconds and scroll down the page. It's like an example. It also does not affect printing. If you start typing after a break, the text will simply appear 3 seconds later. Therefore, this is not a disadvantage.
