If you have a medium or heavy duty mirror, use these springs! Pack of 4 pieces and 4 screws. Two hinges have springs. These 2 spring loaded hinges are mounted on top of the mirror, the other 2 hinges are springless which means the 2 springless hinges hold the mirror down. The only tricky problem is this: start with the bottom hinges and screw in the bottom hinges where you want the bottom of the mirror. Then install a mirror in the bottom two. While holding the mirror in the two bottom positions, take the other spring-loaded loops and place them over the top of the mirror while holding the mirror, or have someone hold it still. Then take a pencil and draw a line on the wall indicating where the top of each loop is. Then take the mirror out of the lower hinges and put the mirror down. Then place the spring loaded hinges one at a time just below the pencil line and screw the hinge to the wall and repeat the same with the second spring. Then lift the mirror and place the top of the mirror on the spring loads and lift until the spring stops and then insert the mirror into the bottom hinges. I would not use any other mirror hinges! Make sure the top hinges secure the top of the mirror.
