Review on ZOSI 1280TVL Security Weatherproof Surveillance Camera & Photo by Michael Welborn

I really like this little camera. Really has a decent picture if you change the default settings. Sharpness really kills the image quality. I reduced the sharpness and what is the difference. Has really excellent night vision. I'd say 85 feet is about right for night time range. By changing the default settings you can get a pretty sharp picture even at night. The throw pattern at night is fairly centered, but that's not a bad thing. I have a different manufacturer's camera and it looks more like a flood pattern, it's great for shooting from about 30 feet. I gave this camera 4 stars for the sole reason that the camera, the zosi selling for $17 is worth a few bucks more. It produces an almost completely silent image at night and an amazing image during the day. Get this if you can save the extra money, but you can't go wrong with this little powerhouse, or it really is a steal for the money. I've used cameras that are three times more expensive and I can't even move a stick in front of this camera. Just remember to change the default settings in the camera's OSD menu.
