So I bought this cable twice which was my mistake. The first cable, a piece of metal, broke off inside my phone, I had to use tweezers to remove it. Three weeks into the purchase I chalked it up as having handled it too roughly so I gave it the benefit of the doubt and reordered it. now there is no sound. I'm not rough with my cables, for example I've been using the same cable for two years, but I changed cars and had to buy a new cable. I went with another company and spent a little more money this time 🤷‍♀️
