Great little preamp. I wanted to use this in a project I had, add bluetooth and upgrade an amp in an old Magnavox console player. Once I hooked everything up, this preamp gave me the volume I needed to get my turntable up to a good volume. The build quality of the preamp is solid and the packaging is preformed so nothing breaks in transit. The housing is made of metal, all buttons and inputs are of high quality. The fact that this can be used on both old and new players also helps a lot. I had to use an auxiliary input as the turntable was already grounded to avoid distortion. All in all I would recommend this for anything you need a little extra volume from and tubes always add warmth that you don't get from solid state preamps.
