If you are buying this for a BMW E46, NOT! I have been assured that this is the tool you must have. If its "teeth" were long enough, as was the arm that supports the bolt, it would work, although I highly doubt you can turn the knob to remove the wiper arm after it's been in the sun for some time was . a few years. This is especially important as you will be working on the left side of the E46 with limited space between the windshield and hood. This might not be the right model, but if it is meant to be, this is another example of cost-cutting to the point. where the product cannot even do its job because the arms/teeth are too short to find the center of the screw on the wiper motor shaft.
