Nice thermometer and case set. The price is right and it looks like it will last a long time. It's easy to use and fast. The sleeve holds the thermometer and also acts as a key to calibrate the thermometer when it becomes inaccurate. You simply place the thermometer in ice water and adjust the crown to 32°F with a wrench. The only thing I don't like about these types of thermometers is that almost none of them come with a clip, so you can keep them in the pot or bowl without hitting the bottom. But I think it's just the default for a reason, so I can't really fault them for that. This is a good model and costs less than I thought it would.
