I ordered these units for my basement where there is a shortage of outlets. They only work with 2-pin connectors, so be careful. I installed one on each side in my basement which gives me extra tool outlets. They work as described and I'm glad I have them. It's a much simpler solution than adding extra outlets, and if you live in a place where there is a risk of seepage or flooding, using it in your overhead lighting will avoid the risk of electrocution from flooding.
