difficult conditions; Safety buckle keeps items secure
I needed to hang my toiletry bag and a few other items on the end of a set of vertical wire shelves in my closet. I have these hooks because of the safety buckle that keeps them in place. Some people use the end of the safety buckle to hold the item, but I use it to attach to a wire shelf and then hang the item over the open end. So when I take my bag or other items off the hook, the hook doesn't come off the shelf. They are heavy and don't strain at all under the loads I put on them. In fact, with a heavy item I hung, I noticed a slight bend in the wire shelf I hung it on. So these hooks actually hold more weight than the shelves I hang them on.
